This is my latest personal work, done during my spare time. As the title says, the scene takes place in a futuristic Saigon, which is strongly inspired by the look and feel of Ridley Scott's movie.
The initial idea behind this picture was to create a 3d self-portrait... then the rainy season, late motorbike cruises and excessive neon lights led me to a new direction.
Made with 3ds max, mental ray, and zbrush. Photoshop used for compositing. The background is a mix of 3d and mate-painting.
